You can get six months off for good behavior

Well we started out our first day early. I needed to buy a new tire so I had Jordan looked up directions on his phone and doing exactly as directed soon was in the middle of nowhere seeking direction from strangers. I was one exit off and soon was back on track. I was first and soon left with new tire and ready to go to the mtc. We drove to Provo and soon found ourselves at the guard shack with a closed gate. I opened my window and the very young black girl in her security uniform asked if we were missionaries. I nodded my head yes, she said Elder don’t be afraid l will open the gate and you can go over the the building where they are waiting for you. Soon we were in the first line of the day. Everyone was really nice and it was not bad. Soon we started having meetings. We were in the group that was organized or led by the aunt and uncle of Skye. Lunch was sort of blah. After lunch we had a long meeting where we introduced ourselves and listened to some talks. Some missionaries were called for two years and I had always told my grandkids that I would see them  in two years. Ashly pointed out that it was only one and one half years. I pointed out that ican get six months off for good behavior. Now all I need to do is have the good behavior. Well we hung in there for the rest of the day.this being a missionary is not easy but I think it could be done. They sent me for a shot and I didn’t have to get it. Good deal. Kenna tells me I need to make an entry each day. So trying to keep it interesting I hope to have something neat to share,  It was neat to see so many young missionaries all of them seemed to be happy. We were told to take a picture pointing to the location of our mission on the map. So see the pic. Remember Elder don’t be afraid. Oh one more tidbit I was made a district leader.
