Today we headed on a whale and dolphin watching cruise. It was a lot of fun. Chris was sick so he stayed home. The boat we chose was moby dick, a family owned business with only one boat a solid old wood boat very clean. What a great time. Everyone else was so much faster than us and we just kept chugging along til we got to see some orca or killer whales. Impressive but this other company with faster smaller boats kept coming up and getting between us and the whales not very nice.
So we watched for a while then I quit taking pictures and let Jordan do it so I could just enjoy it. We found a pair of orca a mother and her calf.
I hope I do the videos right. It is difficult to select from one frame. We then we found a larger grey whale and then another pair of them. They are a lot bigger.
We went with these whales for a long time then I thought we were heading back as all the other boats were already gone, but we still had dolphins. I will do that story soon. The old guy who started the business came and told us all about it. He was very entertaining.
We were out till 2:30 so we walked home very tired and hungry. Grandma and I had to attend an english class and then home to bed. Great day. We love you all.

To Whitney, the.hotel was abandoned as not enough people were staying there. It is a long ways from town and has a great view when it isn’t cloudy. The money just wasn’t enough to keep it going. As to what the white tower looks like it is basically 3 stories of concrete steps to get you above the trees so you have a 360 degree view of the island. Pretty cool.

The whales were pretty cool. Great value for what we got to see. They wanted to make sure we saw as many whales as we could.
