Just a nice day

 Thursday April 30. After the late day yesterday I thought we would be late to work today. But grandma was ready to go on time so. We checked in and then went to the Temple.

Thursday is starting to be the best day for us. Returning to work the education department wanted us to go to lunch with them so we went.

They had oxtails. Yea little bit of greasy meat on a bone that would make a cool necklace. I just keep trying whatever they tell me to eat. This one looked like more work than benefit. The steak here is sort of hit and miss. Some is good and some so tough I wish it was on the bottom of my shoe as it would never wear out. I liked the potato salad last time I ate here but today it had more peas than last time and they introduced corn. The thin sliced cucumber in vinegar are always good. Just different cultures, especially in the food. Everyone always asks what is my favorite Brazilian food and I say rice and beans and chicken.
There is a concert tonight here at the futebol stadium from Canada called weeknd not misspelled. There were kids everywhere and dressed strange. Ripped stockings and funny colored hair and vendors selling cups t-shirts and stuff.

I liked some of the multi colored hair it might look good on me sort of urban camouflage. We also just learned that tomorrow is a national holiday. Labor day is May 1. I guess it is going into fall here. I mean the toilet does spin backwards. We came home a little early but it gets dark early sunset at 5:40. Pretty good day. Love to all.
