A little carry over from yesterday. That castle was amazing. Some of the pictures we got could be on post cards. The guys driving the boat were nice I told them we were missionaries they still were nice and even with their português accent I could talk easily with them. I didn’t know who or where the closest missionaries were so had to settle with a casual contact. After lunch while we walked we when we told people we were missionaries they asked for what church after the first I gave out my only pass along card so I told the people where the chapel is and to watch for 2 young men in white shirts and ties. A lady got on the elevator with us and asked us where we were from and why we were here. I told her that and also where were going (the azores islands) I think that covers the three parts of the pian of salvation where did we come from, why are we here, and where are we going next. Sometimes missionary work can be a little fun. We stopped in to pay our internet bill a little bit in advance and when I told them why all those who had helped us talked to us and were excited for us. I think with more time we could maybe teach some of them. But I think it is the same every where. We had to go see the elders as elder guzman needed help getting his prescription for his zombie toe. He has a really bad case of athletes foot, and the doctor prescribed some medicine.
Okay finally today we started packing to fly out tomorrow. Why did I bring so much stuff? We ran over to the church where the guy who discovered Brazil is buried so I could get a picture with him and the Brazilian flag. Back home and more packing then we had lunch and still more packing. A little side note for those who care they have all kinds of tractors here new holland, massey fergeuson, international, but the winner so far is John Deere. Also the full sized trucks are predominantly Ford. See the pictures. Tonight is English class again so we went. Good last day in Santarem.
