It wasn’t supposed to go this way

Well today we were supposed to be blogging from the Açores islands. We were up early made several trips to the car when we got the call that started to change it all. President trump is suspending all flights from Europe as of tomorrow night at midnight. That put everything on hold here. About 9:30 we got informed that all senior missionaries here are going home. Probably tomorrow. So we went sightseeing. We visited a 600 year old aqueduct, and another castle /cathedral it was pretty impressive. We came home and packed all our stuff ready to go. We ate at McDonalds not as good as Burger King. We are still in our apartment awaiting more information. I like to take pictures of grandma sitting on stone benches by windows.

I love the aqua duct and the beautiful spiral staircase. Sorry how things are going. No one expected this to grow so fast and furious. Between fear and precaution, we are on a roller coaster with faith and trust as our seat belt! Love you both. Safe travels! Denise
