Doctor follow up

 Thursday March 19.

Today was a good start. Up and walking early and dressed, blogged, scriptured, fed, ready to go. We had a follow up appointment with the knee doctor. The uber that accepted our fare then needed 15 minutes to get here. As soon as we started I understood why. The traffic was so bad that you just drive between the stop lights. The gps started out saying 35 minutes but soon changed going up until 48. We would be an hour late. After 20 minutes he headed off to secondary roads and we arrived 30 minutes late. We saw a giant’s shopping buggy.

We went through a tunnel. They have lots of tunnels so traffic can go both above and below in the high use areas. 

The doctor had us right in talked to us and told us to come back in 6 months or when the pain becomes unbearable. Going took an hour coming home only needed 15 minutes. We headed back to work. We had several things to get done and just as we were ready to leave we went and taught a short English class. We came home and ate rice and chili. Life is good. I am still impressed with the kindness of the people here towards us. Must be because grandma is with me. I am trying to adjust my step count so as to maintain the best my knee can do. Looks like 12000 is a good number to shoot for. Love to all.
