What a nice day. It’s p day and first we went for a walk. We picked a new direction and it was all our stuff down hill from there. I mean really it was a bit steep down hill. One of the neat things about where we live is we are on top of the city and everything else is either the same height or down hill. Well back to our walk, at the bottom of the hill we found a country club with covered tennis courts and everything written in English. We went back up the hill and finished our walk on flat terrain. We ate another of my gourmet breakfast and then I spent some time cleaning and I even got in a bit of study. We checked in with the elders and the sick one is doing much better. They went with us to two old fortresses it was really neat. One was only a few hundred years old, but the other one was at least started by the romans. Next grandma and I went shopping. We shopped till we dropped literally. We came home and I started cooking. One of the elders said that the food he missed the most was scones with spicy chili on top we had to figure out how to get the yeast for the bread and I put together some chili that might work out. I made cake and wonder of wonders they have a carmelo líquida that is burnt sugar. No kidding I made a cake and frosting and I already know that no one else will like it so I get it all. We try to speak português all we can out in public, so the people won’t think we are tourists, in the grocery store today and many times before individuals will start following us around I figure so they can listen to us speak English. P days are nice not just because we get to go see things but mainly I don’t have to wear a tie I do okay with white shirts and slacks, but it sure is nice to lose the tie. Some day when I have time and a good picture to go with it I will tell of our experience at Burger King. But for now we need to head out for a fhe. Notice in the ad for the American burger at mcdonalds jt is Atlanta touched down.
