The Washer at Least Works
This morning for our walk we went in a different direction as normal, but because of the choice we made we ended up walking for an hour and a half. We ended up next to the airport and then headed down hill on a new route for us. Some times the traffic is heavy and with the narrow sidewalks walking can become very interactive. The buses have the mirrors really close to their sides so the fit between the buildings and don’t knock people down. Each day we are a little more comfortable and organized. But then we have to deal with the washer. The elders were coming over with the tools they had and I had a plan B prepared. If we were unable to get it open our one window opens wide enough to throw the machine out where the 2 story drop should cause something to happen. But I was able to get it open with a screwdriver. The other way sounded funner and more satisfying. And if it didn’t work I could do it again. Sounds fun. I had put together a pot of chili last night and so for their reward for helping with the washer I fed them some. One of the missionaries is from Portugal and the other one is from Utah. I wasn’t sure if they would like it but they both did they eat like Trae and Hunter. I was supposed to receive a call on what’s up doc from the president do ditricto at 7 pm but here in portugal when you have a set hour it is more of a general idea. We had the call at about 9 pm. Each day I have to take pictures of flowers they’re everywhere, and the members say it is better in August. So every day my blog will have pictures of flowers and Grandma. As you can see the washer is small enough I think I could throw it a ways. Thanks Skye for the kind comments. Love to all.
