Friday January 14

Well it is another nice day. We went on a short walk later in the morning. We ended up down by the ocean and watched a man fishing for a while and he caught one just as we started watching but didn’t have any more luck while we were there. The trees are all getting pruned here. This is what they look like before.
These are those trees that have the huge leaves that look like maple leaves. Their bark and the way it sheds  make them look camouflaged. This is a trimmed tree.
They are ugly now but pretty with the leaves. The number of Covid cases is increasing rapidly. It is becoming common to see people wearing masks. Even in the streets and parks.
It was so nice out it was difficult to think it is January. We headed back and grandma found another mutant leaf saying this one looks like a butterfly.
Along the way home grandma noticed the top of this palm like tree and the either seed pods or flower buds that look like small bunches of carrots.
Back home we ate lunch and back to work we visited lots of people. It started to rain.  We found some new people hopefully some for the missionaries to work with. Not a really big walking day but just sort of took it easy. We love you all.

I still think those trees look like the womping willow in Hary Potter. Did you put your mask on the statue? Love you guys! Love Ashley!
