Monday January 24

Today is p-day and the weather is beautiful. On our trip to Porto last week the trunk fell and hit me on the head grandma took a picture for the blog.

For breakfast grandma had another of those mutant zombie bananas.

We planned our day to go to a lake in the mountains where some of the scenic view points are amazing. Since we had four elders we needed to make two trips to get everyone there. We stopped several times along the way.

We found a really pretty spot, where we could look down at he entire lake

The sign commemorates a plane crash here in 1968 that killed the young pilot in a small plane. We have never seen any small planes flying but according to the sign they had an avionics club back then. We got everyone rounded up and were going to start shuffling people down to lunch whe one elder hopped in the trunk and the other three in the back seat and we drove carefully down. The tires were a bit low.

We had a nice lunch then headed home. We had all our zoom meetings then got to talk with Hunter. We had a nice day. I tried to spend time just enjoying the views of the ocean and shoreline. We will probably make prints of few of the pictures you see in the blog, but some of the things we see are worth a little more time to store them in my memory banks. We love you all.
