Merry Christmas

 Thursday December 25. Merry Christmas. We stayed in bed till about 7. Then we decided to go for a walk before it got really hot. We almost left it too late. We went out a different direction today just becoming more familiar with the area. I didn’t realize it before but if you go out the front gate it’s uphill both directions. And really steep. We headed uphill the direction away from where we work. The only people we encountered were people walking their dogs. The traffic was nearly nonexistent. We had a quiet day. There are beginning to be flowers as it is heading into summer.

One of the crazy things I notice is the electrical wires running everywhere. They hang low are broken and just a jumble of a mess. Someone must know how it works, but one member was telling me that when the wind blows the trees blow down busting the wires they do strange repairs.

We walked for about an hour but it was already mid 80’s so back home. I started cooking making tacos and spaghetti and chili to put in the freezer. Lots of work but I have the time. We called the family it was great. We were invited to play games with some other senior missionaries. We went it was fun once in a while. We came home and still had to call Logan’s family. It was fun. Sunday when I put on my suit I found a paper airplane in my pocket courtesy of Tanner. I put it above the mirror a bit of home.

We were just getting in bed about 10:30 when Asher called. Great to talk with him. Next time I will try to remember to get a screen shot. Good day all in all. Love to all.
