Another great Sunday morning walk.

 Sunday February 15. 

Today with late church again I went for a walk. Wanting to see new areas and things I set out. But first I passed a blind lady tapping down the street headed for church. Neat that later on she was mentioned in a talk given in a talk by the couple who returned home last week.

There was a new trailer on the corner with anti-theft steps in place, and I took some pictures of the razor wire on the fences.

This new jeep is less than $29,000.

I saw some trees and water so I left the major road on an old pathway along a drainage canal. All that rain has to go somewhere. After a short walk the pathway was a gravel road then paved and really a pretty area.

There was this painted up rhino.

Not sure what the rhinoceros have to do with anything but. I headed up a little ways and noticed out in the jungle an old abandoned roadway. Also retaining walls and rock benches, so taking a short walk on a dirt trail I was going along the abandoned road. It circled up by a set of stairs that lead up to another street. Old signs said to be friends of the park and throw your garbage in the trash cans. It was a bit overgrown. Great flowering trees.

Back on the road I noticed fhat I could walk out a long switchback or take the stairs up to the road above. Also pretty cactus type hedge.

This was starting to get fun. I kept going and turning and there were many forks in the road when I noticed  that I was needing to head back. But I wasn’t certain where back was. So I decided to continue for 5 more minutes then turn around. 5 minutes later I was headed back. I was not lost just a bit bewildered. Soon I came to another fork in the road and remembered water goes downhill I headed down. Not long after I came to a road I recognized and it was good. I ended up in the other. Bit of jungle I explored 2 weeks ago. I noticed a nice sculptured tree and this huge auger used to drill down to rock for footings for these high buildings.

Returned home got to church and had a nice Sunday. We called the kids and Sadie called us. Gotta love Sunday. Love to all.
