Tuesday March 17.
I was up early and finished my walk early as we need to go to the federal police office and get our blue cards think green cards today. We left to walk over to the mission office and just before making the last turn my eyes were attracted to a monkey just out of reach in a tree by the sidewalk. Getting grandma’s attention I was able to get a couple of photographs before it disappeared into a tree the other side of the wall.
We continued to the mission office and found out we had another half hour before the taxi could arrive. I decided to go back and look for monkeys. Returning to the trees I walked around and soon spotted 7 monkeys headed down the street using the power lines as sky bridges to the next tree. One monkey had a tiny baby on her back.
They are quick and hard to get pictures. Across the street a crew of workers was using a tree climbing stand to climb a palm tree. Looks fun.
Traveling to the police we passed a concrete truck. New and shiny.
We got our cards then back to work. We are teaching English for an hour at lunch time. A bit hard but doable. A picture of my new map.
We found out we had a devotional with Elder Rasband in the chapel next to our office so off to that. We sat a long time, but it was good.
Next walk home and supper of warmed up pizza and beef stew. Busy day. Love to all.

Cool pictures of the monkeys only a contractor would appreciate a concrete truck and a new one maybe the Horrocks would
Is this the first time you’ve seen monkeys there?!?! So fun!!!
I love the concrete truck and I love the monkeys. Is that the first time you’ve seen the monkeys since you arrived?
Did Elder Rashad speak in English or Portuguese? Was the guy standing next to him a translator?
Lots of fun stuff
