Saturday April 18. Today was travel day. Things went as planned and soon we were on the bus.
The lower level has huge chairs that level out into a bed. The upper level has nice chairs that have leg rests and recline. The front row is actually straight above the driver. If we go by bus anywhere else I want those seats. We were just behind those front seats and I was able to sit my phone on the back and get some good pictures. It is amazing scenery and a comfortable ride. We did come up on an accident scene and just like in Utah it was stop and go for 20 minutes. Then we stopped for lunch. More not so good food. I thought it was just me but grandma ate very little also. After 6 hours we arrived back in São Paulo driving real close to our apartment then driving into the city for half an hour to the bus terminal. Foolishly I decided to use a cab it being a lot faster than uber but it cost. $40 more than our bus tickets one way. Live and learn hopefully. So good to be back. I loved the trip but what with eating out and the time spent in our hotel room it was nice to get back to more luxury and simple food. We live well here. Look forward to calling you all tomorrow. I feel like you should go to some of these places on the bus. That seems like some of the best value to see things comfortably than anything else
