I guess I will keep trying to do this each day. Not many people are reading it, but it makes a good way to keep a journal. Everything was not working today. The internet would not connect, the washing machine door refuses to open the dryer won’t, dry and our legs hurt. So suck it up buttercup. We were up and headed out for our walk. We chose a different direction and soon we were walking uphill past some really high end apartments. Made me wonder if they had problems with their washers and dryer’s and oh yeah the internet. We walked for our allotted time away from the apartment and turned for home on a different route. This was a much poorer section. We were walking where the street is one way with just enough room for a small car and sidewalks about 24 inches wide on each side. If you trip you die. Makes walking exciting. We ended up down close to the harbor where we were yesterday. During our walk we passed what I called a biker gang. A group of guys hanging outside a bar/coffee shop with their scooters and motorcycles parked in front. I waved at them and some waved back. I am not sure how to approach them but will leave that for another day. We had district meeting this morning we were the first to arrive and went right in. Shortly after entering an alarm went off. We hurried out but it kept going. I called the elders and they gave me the code so I was able to shut it off. We now had internet. I sent the blog for Sunday and with some pictures and a bit of typing sent the one for Monday also. We even hung around after the meeting and call Logan. The missionaries wanted us to go with them to visit a recent convert so off to the country we went. The member is an older sister with gray hair. Her accent makes it hard to understand, but it can only get easier. She like all of the other women is very supportive of Grandma and I get the impression that they think it is somehow my fault she doesn’t speak português. See the pictures of her place. Then it was home to try to repair the washer. No joy (this means it didn’t work). I cooked some supper and as it was 8 pm here we stayed home. I had received a text earlier assigning me to give a 15 minute talk in Sacrament meeting Sunday. Please pray for me, (remember with the time differential I’ll be talking at 4 am so if you wait to pray till Sunday morning, too late). Grandma ironed some of our clothes and we tried to get to bed early. No long hikes today love to all.

Hello! Glad someone gets to walk and have fun. It has taken me a few days to get an afternoon.off to check on the blog. It is easier if I look every few days and read multiple entries at once.
It sounds like a lot of fun grandpa! I Can't wait to see you again! Love you and miss you.
