Today it isn’t raining. What a nice day. We went out for a walk. Lots of people said happy new year to us wanting to demonstrate their English. We had a nice walk stopping to look in lots of windows. Still all the Christmas stuff is out.
All these days we have been walking pretty close to the same route I failed to notice that the church getting a face lift is a clock tower.
There were still people swimming although it looked a little cold. We had lunch scheduled for this afternoon with members. It was fun and good food. Rice with duck, a mild cod fish casserole, oven roasted potatoes, some sort of meat rolled up, and good coleslaw. I ate too much. Good thing it’s fast Sunday tomorrow.
It is one of the new elders birthday so they put some candles on a cake and sang.
We stopped off on the way home at both chapels and at one spot looking over the ocean another wall with the deterrent of broken bottles. We came back home and had some time to relax. It is time to get going on the working part of the mission. Hopefully we can keep up. We love you all.
