Today we had an appointment to have the car serviced. This is quite a big deal requiring most of a day and costing close to $400. They go through the car thoroughly and it is done at the dealership. This dealership was close to where we turn around on our longer walks so we dropped it off and had a pleasant walk home. We arrived home and got ready to catch the bus to the member’s home to have lunch. While waiting the flowering bush where we take all the nice pictures of grandma on Sunday is mostly trimmed back. There are wires and such to force the branches to grow where wanted.
The bus was really nice. Roomy seats clean efficient and the driver was good. We went up a narrow road I like to drive up and he wove his way up with the side of the bus being less than 6 inches from the building. I loved it. We had a great lunch then grandma and I caught a bus back. We were on there with two other passengers and soon just us. This is not a bad way to travel. I need to take a picture inside next time. We grabbed our stuff and headed down to pick up the car. I saw our first mouse. He is sort of flat but some of our grandkids like this kind of stuff.
We got it bailed out. With new brakes, required annual inspection, muffler repair, and service $641. They washed and vacuumed it too. We headed home and soon had to go back out to help a family who were out of food. I probably messed up the method but hope it will work out alright. We visited with Drew, Gail, and John. Today is John’s birthday. What a cute active little boy. Interesting day. We love you all.
