This is probably the last of the Christmas pictures. The weather today was nice so I went for my solo walk early. Nice to get back to a routine. We had early meetings this morning. I met with the branch presidency while sister Mecham met by zoom with the zone and then the district missionaries. We went home and awaited the repair man. This is Portugal I have yet to see anyone be on time and do things in a logical order. So the call scheduling the repair for after lunch happened at 5. After all it’s after luch somewhere. Instead of a repair man it was the owner of the apartment coming to be certain that it really needs fixed. Now he will schedule the real repair in the nest week or so. Not complaining actually I expected less. Just showing how laid back it is here. The people of Portugal like to say they are a first world country. In some ways they are, but in their scheduling of things they sure are lax. We next hauled the missionaries going to live in Ribeira Grande to their new apartment. Then back for the activity then shopping for the second time to get them all the stuff to furnish an apartment. I stopped and got these pictures. They are different than any of the others.
By the time we had unloaded and drove home it was 10:00. Busy long day. We love you all.

They are very creative with the Christmas lights. The way the lights are wrapped around the trees and the orange round thing looks like a picture out of one of Dr. Seuss' books.
Glad the process has started for repairs!
It's amazing how much they deck out for Christmas. I love all the nativities their all so unique. That dome of lights looks so cool, did you go inside it? Love you guys! Love Ashley!
