Well it’s p-day again and I wish it could have all gone as scripted. There is this tunnel that goes a long way through a mountain that we thought we would check out. After a long brutal drive with 4 big guys in the back seat we arrived. There was a little trail damage we were able to work around and soon we were at the opening. Big problem the deep channel that the water flows through was running into the pathway beside it about a foot deep. No way to do this.
Time for plan b. We drove back and up to the lookout we discovered last week. It was really windy up there. Grandma sat on the wall and just as I warned her that her hat was going to blow away it did. But it hung up on a bush and one of the elders rescued it. We stopped off so they could see a cool windmill, but not much enthusiasm there. They wanted to head for lunch, so off to the same cafe as always. There is this tourist adventure using a big truck that I have seen only once down by the ocean and today it was parkd in Ribeira Grande.
It is big and it is a truck. After lunch it was home and just relaxing around. We had our zoom meetings. Then I had time to make some calls to set up appointments for the week. The best part was talking to Hunter. We love you all.
