Monday June 27

This is what the sides of the roads look like. They keep cutting them back but can’t seem to make a difference. It’s p-day. The elders from Ribeira Grande were up in the rotation to go with us. We were wanting to visit a place called mosteiros as they have neat rock, cliff, and beach

We stopped along the way to allow the elders to see things as they had not been here before.

Arriving at the beach there were several português man of war a jellyfish they are purple in color transparent and not real large. One was still alive so I threw him back in the water.

We saw these all over on our whale watching tour. Did I mention the flowers. Grandma had to take pictures and even video.

I hope it plays. We stopped all along the way but since I have shown them all in the blog before I didn’t get a lot of pictures.

We continued on around the island stopping at a windmill, the jewish cemetery and along the marina and harbor. We visited two lighthouses but I didn’t take many pictures.
We circled down to lagoa and then back over to Ribeira Grande before coming home. We had our zoom meetings. Then ate and called Angela on her birthday. She is eight years old today and gets baptized on Saturday. Fun day but it’s a good thing p-day only comes once a week. I could overload on flowers. We love you all.

Those jellyfish are so cute. The purple with the yellow look awesome in the flowers. I like the arch with the flowers on it. I love you both! Love Ashley💕
