This morning I went for a little walk. The flowers increase in their numbers and size daily. I had a picture of this plant last week with half the flowers. I walked around taking pictures.
I ended up down by the ocean and it was a beautiful day. Theret was a group of men in knee boots, with fishing poles, packs, and carrying buckets headed out fishing.
Back at home we got ready for church and left for church early. We had good meetings then home for lunch with the missionaries. We had pretty much the same food as yesterday because of all the leftovers. Next off for our other sacrament meeting in Ribeira Grande. We made a few stops along the way for the elders. One left us overlooking the harbor in fishtail.
We headed for church, but there was another festival going on so many of the roads were blocked. Horses everywhere from the parade.
We saw one of the floats to be in the parade.
There was a sign on the one building saying it was built in 1658 that grandma thought should get mentioned.
We had our meeting and headed home. It was fun talking to all the family. Good day. We love you all.
