December 24. No work today. The place almost shuts down. The Brazilians tell me they celebrate more today than tomorrow. They open presents tonight instead of in the morning. We decided to use this chance to stock up on groceries. So about 9 we headed down to “shopping “. We arrived to find it still closed, so we walked back over to the church’s property and sat on a bench in the shade.
We took a few pictures. At 10 we headed back to the store. We decided to look around while we had the chance. The subway reminded us of Asher. There was a barber shop cutting the hair on a little boy sitting in a car. Wouldn’t Carter like this.We bought a lot of groceries spending 250 reals. It filled our grocery bag plus my backpack.
We came home lazed around and had lunch hamburgers and fries. The hamburger here tastes better to me than that at home. We went out to visit a few other missionaries.
Cool looking Ranger truck. Be sure and don’t pisar on the grass. Nice day. Love to all.

Carter would definitely love that car chair. I’m glad you two are having fun 😊. I love you both!
I love all things KitKat!!! You better bring me some unique flavors home!!!
They have sole good stuff there. It’s amazing how much variety KitKat has in other countries. I brought many types of them back from Portugal for Skye
