Friday December 19. Today was back to work. We walked a different route which is difficult because work is 2 blocks down and 2 blocks over. But we had less traffic but the hill was pretty steep. On this route the sidewalk is narrow and we go single file. This the best way to go to the grocery store as we more or less stay on top and just go out and back. I think we will grocery shop most days so my backpack doesn’t get too heavy. We got to work here are some pictures.
These didn’t print in the order I wanted. We struggled today with our phones and debit cards. As usual Drew was the BH big help. They still only work sometimes. We went to lunch and couldn’t finish our transaction at Burger King so more calls and back out to the mall to test them buying laundry detergent. The card worked after several attempts. They have a Christmas village in the center with a pay to ride train.

More work then on the way home we bought an umbrella. Trying to be prepared. We had multiple visitors tonight bringing Christmas presents and helping with the TV and computer set up. These are nice people here. Not used to people being so nice. We have a bit of a Christmas scene in our courtyard with reindeer lights and a nativity.
We called all the kids tonight checking out the phones, some success. Love to all.
