Today being Sunday we really didn’t have much to take up our time. We lazed around the apartment until time to head for church. We had a family from Utah attend today. The husband had been a missionary here on são miguel 20 years ago. They are here for 6 months while he writes a book or something. After church we came home and finished packing for our trip tomorrow. While i was preparing dinner i noticed the neighbors all out looking and I noticed smoke pouring from one of the garbage bins. The fire department was on the scene putting out the fire. After all it is the 4th of July.
We called all the kids which is still the high light of the week. Logan called me from our house and we adjusted the live from our two cameras. Thank you for all the kind comments here on our blog. As to the fences this is one secure place other than stores and apartment buildings you can’t get near anything. Even the churches are surrounded by high locked fences. I hope the next 3 days I get to keep this going, but traveling can get iffy with the internet. This is a picture of the church parking lot as we were headed home. And another cute car. Love you all.

It looks like that car should have holes for your feet to go through and drive with foot power.
The cars are so small! The church parking lot looks beautiful surrounded by all the green! Love you and miss you both, Love Ashley!
