Zone meeting

 Today we were up and ready when the assistants to the president arrived to give us a ride tot e stake center. These are photos from today and back in February of 2020. 2020 first. So jordan show them to his mom please even share the blog if you want.

I think he looks much the same, even though grandma and i are wearing some of the same clothes I at least look alittle rougher.  So zone meetings are all about getting the missionaries fired up and it worked pretty good. For lunch we had.adish made of potatoes with white gravy and bacalhau (cod fish). It was good tasted just a little like a tuna casserole. The cake for desert was better than expected. These young missionaries are so active and happy it either makes me feel happy or old or both. After the meeting we caught a ride back to the hotel after changing our clothes and resting up we set out to the same restaurant as the day before. We wantd to try a local dish that tanslates into “little Francis” it is a taco shell somehow made of cheese filled with several kinds of meat bread broken up amd swimming in a pinkish orange sauce. Remember I don’t see colors the same as others do. The locals and the missionaries had said we needed to try it so I am glad we did. It was interesting, not something I would want to learn to cook, but I want to try some things different and I always encourage my grandkids to try new ways things. I ate all of mine and grandma ate all but some of the bread scraps which was the hardest to meat. Another experience to do once. The weather was perfect and we had a nice walk back and spent a nice quiet evening. Here are some pictures. We called Drew as it is his birthday as late as we could stay up. We love him a lot.
