One Long Haul

 July 31 Saturday. Since we enjoyed our walk of yesterday so much we decided to try a variation of it again. We headed down to the area where all the tourists are located as there are lots of stores to look at and the people keep it a little cleaner. We saw a lot of neat stuff and pretty flowers.

After an hour we needed to head home by way of a member’s house we were told to visit today. But no one answered the door. We came home ate and prepared for a busy day. First up was language class. Then a fast trip home for lunch and we headed out to visit we visited 6 members with all kinds of results. One member had twin girls 9 months old one woke up and I played peekaboo using my hand over my eyes she smiled and turned her face on her mom’s shoulder but would look right back for more. Man I miss my grandkids at times. Speaking of grandkids Ashley I really like that you read and comment, thank you. We even had time to stop   at the American Store. Hormel chili $5.50 a can mushroom soup at $3.00.All kinds of food in small quantified yet large prices. Grandma and I were sent in to try and contact a lady who shut the curtains and turned out the lights when the missionaries tried to make contact. We visited with her for a while but she wanted no future contact, why not let her have her wish? This evening we had leadership meeting at the church. It was mainly about cleaning up the membership list. One more long walk for me with the missionaries to visit a member they thought I needed to meet. It required a bit of a walk and climbing flights and flights of stairs. Then home, lot of walking today. We see these flags at times.
