Nice walk

Wednesday August 18, 2021. This morning the elders wanted to walk with us down to the farmers market so we all set out just before 8 am. Grandma and I tried our best to hurry but I am sure the elders had to hold back. When we arrived we spent some time looking around the fish market was not quite as rank smelling as usual so I looked around and got a few pictures.

Check out the size of this eel the guy had already cut up about a foot of it while I was watching.
There were octopus tenticals and squid even a small shark.

Grandma bought 3 pineapples and I grabbed a kilo of hamburger. We walked down to the ocean and then along it til we had to head back uphill to our apartment. We cleaned up and over to language class, then home where I cooked stew. We let it cool off a bit then walked out to visit a member we wanted to locate. We were lucky and found her and arranged to visit her tomorrow. Today was a hot calm day, and since our apartment gets some cooling air it was nice to spend a few hours inside. Love to all.

That eel is cool and gross at the same time! I’m not a big fan of sea food 🀢, but they probably have some great recipes there!

That eel is super long and cool, I kinda wanted to see the shark but I couldn't find it in the picture. The stew sounds good and the pineapple as well. That's exiting that you got to find a member and arrange a meeting with her. Love you guys! Love Ashley!
