Monday June 20

It’s p-day. We are not doing anything too exciting today with all that happened last week we are tired. So we got everyone to pinhal da paz or the peaceful pine forest. We were just here Friday but we love it. The flowers are still beautiful and we love the views from the top of the tower. I didn’t take a lot of pictures as I have done this place eight times now. The deer herd is always fun and the missionaries enjoyed feeding them.

There was a police dog handler walking his dogs. The big one is being retired so out for a last time. Sometimes I know how he feels.
We came home and ate lunch. Pretty nice day, but not the spectacular views we usually associate with p-day. We had our zoom meetings and by then the day was gone. I really enjoy the comments. Most of you have never experienced long term correspondence by letter. For some reason this reminds me of that. When I was a young missionary I spent a lot of time writing letters and then anticipated responses days or weeks later. Then you wrote a response and it just kept going. I like talking to the family on Sunday, but there are others who only get the blog. It’s sort of fun to do it sort of old fashioned. Skye the Patrick rock is referring to croods when the dad always said there was a girl who did such and such and then he would slap the rock and say she died. Patrick always warned his kids of dire consequences so we started slapping the wall or table and saying and They Died. The rock has a hand print like the movie. Difference being the movie he left an imprint in the rock and thiw was put in wet cement. Well got to go. We love you all.
