Today was a busy day. I had a great solo walk then home and I had a meeting with the branch President to work on the branch records. We stayed with it for 2 hours and we were able to move 21 more units out. Next we ate and headed up and got Alda for her reading class as soon as that ended we went out to Ribeira Grande. The first appointment fell through, then we missed at the second, then we went to visit the member lady with the little twin girls. She lives in Rabo de Peixe, which means fish tail. This is a different place it is like an inner city or a ghetto. The people are always outside on the sidewalk laying or sitting around. Sometimes in big groups. Almost no one has a job. After saying this the place is fairly clean. Lots of handicap people live here. Certain areas smell of centuries of fish processing. We got a few drive by pictures.
Okay maybe more than a few. It’s an interesting place so shut off or isolated that their speech is hard to understand, lots of illiteracy or at least little education. Some people live here because it is so cheap to live here. We hurried back to the next appointment in Ponta Delgada which also had a small lunch. Then off to Ribeira Grande again for the ward activity. It went well with games and food.
Then getting everyone home and back to our place and then in bed. We love you all.

Are the little twins identical? Just curious. I would say their trying to tan laying or sitting on the sidewalk. That's what I would be doing. I love you both! Love Ashley💕
