Fun day for a walk

 Saturday August 21. First an explanation our mission president is here on the island. The elders are spending this morning and abit of the afternoon driving him and his wife around to visit. This leaves us with nothing to do as we have already visited everyone within walking range. If we visit anyone further away we need backpacking gear. Now before we hear a batch of suck it up buttercup we are doing the best we can. We have though some time on our hands. I went for a short walk early while grandma slept and started to get ready to go walking. We left together shortly after 8 am. We have to walk part of the way the same each time, but as sone as we could we broke of and walked one new road. We were headed for the farmers market to buy some produce. Specifically lettuce. Lettuce in the mall is $4.80 a stalk where as the same stalk is $.90 at the farmers market. Since we were going to walk anyway may as well save some money. The market was busy with more shoppers and more vendors.

And as we were leaving I smelled popcorn so we bought some in the mall the popcorn is in containers like at Walmart and a bit pricey so this is less money and fresh.

Grandma wanted to find a craft store to buy a couple of things so google map walked us right to it. It was a lot of fun talking to the  clerk she was patient and kind. We left there and soon came to a souvenir store they had a hat I wanted to see and then I noticed a sign that advertised beer with the name donotello thinking to take a picture of it I was surprised to see this.

Caleb should love it. We came home after a 3 hour walk and we were hungry. We ate a light lunch and then back out for a short walk. We read another chapter out loud I think grandma is getting better. Love to all.
