August 6 Friday. Today is Trae’s birthday. Well I don’t think it was the distance we walked so much as getting in so late that left us wanting to take a day off. We see pretty, and unusual things every day during our normal activities and we just need a break from the routine. The big downside to taking a day off is there is not much to do in the apartment. I have fixed the toilet, got the tub draining fast, built shelves in the bathroom for grandma’s stuff even done some technical cooking. I can’t imagine what it must’ve been like under quarantine. I probably would have got sideways with the government and been sent home. Even today I forget about once each day to put on my mask and someone reminds me. I wonder if the police shot me for failure to wear a mask if that would count as a Covid-19 death? Well back to the day at hand. We went to the church and did some record updates and then practiced the song we were asked to sing at the baptism Saturday. We are awful. You know it’s bad when I asked grandma if I should sing quieter and she told me to sing louder. Remember Ashley telling me to play the guitar and let them do the singing and you will have an idea of how bad it is. One of the elders said look how good this will play out in your blog. Well we will see. Just like a visit to the dentist it all has an end they can’t make us keep on singing nor will they want to. Now we came home at 2 pm and grandma said if I wanted to go out to go ahead without her. So we stayed home. I read and cooked and read tried to nap but it ended. Looking through my pictures and deleting a lot of doubles I found some of construction that interested me the side bucket on the backhoes so the bucket swings in flat against the back of the tractor which makes it not bounce around going down the road 30 to 40 miles per hour, a concrete pump truck. And there were some guys pouring a large pond and giving it a broom finish I asked if they needed any help but they just smiled and said no.
Well enough of this. We called Trae to wish him happy birthday, we really love that young man. And we love all of you.

That would be interesting if the government counted it as a covid-19 death. I think you'll do good singing grandpa, no matter what I said. You and grandma are doing so good there. That's nice of you to make some cabinets for grandma. and your food sounds and looks good. Love you! Love Ashley!
Keep singing Reed!
Hahaha! Sounds like a blast. Just keep singing, singing, singing. And don't become a Covid Fatality, lol!
