Tuesday September 7

Well we finally made it for our weekly picture of grandma and the flowering bush. Still looking good. We didn’t get in quite as much walking in today due to other plans. We did happen to be passing the American embassy when the flag was being raised.

When walking we also found a new type of flower starting to bloom I am sure grandma knows what they are but to me they look like a pink daffodil.
Also for grandma I took pictures close up of the purple bush.

We had meetings and then before you know it we are home for lunch. Sometimes it is difficult to keep variety for our meals and since I do all the meals my meal rotation sometimes doesn’t rotate so good. Making one meal and eating it all before it goes bad is hard. We still have difficulty in eating the produce before it spoils. Our fridge is small so the freezer is really small. But I know suck it up buttercup. I made chili again and at least it freezes well so I have 4 meals in the freezer when we need them. One other difficulty I am working on is getting all the food on the table together still warm and still cool. I may need to buy a second pan. There are days I wish I was in my hunting camp as I deal well with the resources there day after day. We next went with the elders to visit a woman they had found. She spoke with us in english and was a bit strange, but we deal with it. We had another meeting with the leaders of the branch and corresponding district leaders. I understand more at least then off to visit the family with the 4 kids who love us and we get little notes each time. The two kids in the middle still need to be taught and Maauurra always wants to answer all the questions so we went for a walk with her and her oldest sister while the other 2 were being taught. I saw a guy paintint the out side of his house with a tiny brush. That is determination.

We walked around and even though the family had mentioned that it was not the friendliest neighborhood everyone was pleasant to us. We walked around for the better part of an hour. Then it was getting dark and time to go home.
Hard to see but two dogs of that type only from the acores with the round ears.

Well not the most exciting day but after all we aren’t tourists although at times so much is always happening around us that it may look like we are out for adventure only. But we really do try to be about our work. I love you all.

Those dogs are cool with round ears. The food sounds good, hopefully, you can finish the produce this time without it going bad. Love the purple bush and those new pink flowers are very pretty. Love you guys! Love Ashley!
