Even though it is starting to be fall and the leaves are falling and the flowers are fading fast this bird of paradise plant got with it and is doing good. A bush next to it has a red border around each leaf. Hard to see but evn these old color blind eyes can see it here in person. We arrived down at the ocean and the tide was way low. There are lots of rocks sticking up and probably this is the reason they are digging the channel deeper. We were walking along and it started to really rain we were close to a covered part where a road passed over the walkway so we just hung out for 10 minutes or so and it had passed. Grandma wanted to use the bathroom and being close to the swimming area we went there while waiting for her a huge cruise ship docked in front of me.
We had watched it leave from a distance the day before and now it was back empty. I expect it will load up the tourists who have spent several days on the island. While close here another interesting ship has showed up and tied up close to the black pearl, a smaller version black like the other but with only two masts.
Neat flag blowing by it.
We headed down the coast and some nice waves.
We walked home and ate and did some studying. We were headed out to make some visits when it really started to rain. Grandma had just hung some laundry out to dry and so we hurried and got it in. Grandma got sort of wet so we had to stop and dry her off. Her hair was all frizzy like Sadie’s hair is and I thought it looked good.
We made our visit which required a walk down the coast so l grabbed another picture of the cruise ship from a distance. It is huge. That is the large stadium seats in front of it so you can get an idea of how tall it is.
There is a small carasel on the walkway that has always been covered until now.We made our visit and headed home by way of the church. Long walk today. When we were arriving home it started to rain. Raining hard with lightning and thunder. Lots of lightning and thunder. Reminded me of the trip to horse creek hot springs with Asher. I love it.We love you all.22408 8.1 miles

I like Marcia’s “frizzy” hair too. I wish I’d been there to for the thunder and lightening. I love watching the sky light up and hearing it’s rolling thunder. Take care. —Denise—
Grandma looks very pretty, and I love the colors of the flowers especially the red rimmed leaves. That cruise ship is HUGE! That carousel is super cool if you bring that home, us grandkids would have a blast with it. Love grandma's hair. Love you guys! Love Ashley!
That’s a long walk. For some reason I missed the story of the lightning and thunder and just had Asher tell me the story.
Marcia can pull off any hairstyle!
