Today we were up early and getting ready to go. Due to a time zone change it felt like an hour earlier than it was. Looking out our window we are on the ninth floor (this would be the tenth floor back home as here the bottom or ground floor is always zero) we were the tallest building in sight. The balcony rails here are short just to my waist, so a little scary as my feet get clumsy as I age.
We got a taxi to the church and I even recognized the way from when we walked last time. We had a zone meeting on Christmas, it was pretty good. Being around all these young missionaries makes me feel young and old at the same time. When I think of how coming to these meetings is like chasing our youth, I then realize that that youth idea has already out ran us. We wore Santa hats and had a nice lunch.
Then we played games and had a white elephant gift exchange. Then with help got uber installed correctly and back to our hotel. We changed clothes and went to a Burger King. I don’t know why but the food at Burger King here on the continent is better than on the island. A lot better. Walking back to the hotel we passed shop windows so more pictures.
We spent some time trying to arrange for tomorrow and headed for bed. We love you all.
