It is good to be back. This morning it’s cloudy and quite windy. We were late leaving for our walk. We drove up the coast to go walking along the path we visited Sunday. It is in a small town about 5 miles from our apartment. There is a tower right where we parked so we grabbed some pictures.
It looks like one of those platforms made for diving into a swimming pool. Across the way is a huge grain storage. It has been repurposed into a factory and the people are unaware what a grain silo is.
The pathway is pavement and feels soft to our feet since we normally walk on rocks. It is strange how much softer it feels. It walked next to the ocean and even here on the leeward side of the island the waves were larger because of the wind.
Notice the one house looks like the prow of a ship. The trail leads on but soon changes to a narrow path of concrete hand formed around rocks and snaking back and forth trying to choose the best way through the rocks. There are places along the way where people swim. Even one garbage receptical made in the shape of a turtle.
We returned home stopping along the way at several stores and then we arrived and finally ate. We only had a small meal as we have a dinner with a part member family this evening. We made several phone contacts and soon it was time to go. We left and literally as I closed the car door it started to rain. It really got with it by the time we arrived where we parked. Thank goodness for NorthFace jackets. We had a nice meal of rice and chili. The chili was homemade and good. Different than mine but fun to try new things. We aren’t in Idaho. We shared a message then home in a real rain. But as normal when we pulled into the apartment parking lot the rain stopped. Good day. We love you all.

The rain is always fun and having a warm bowl of chili on the tummy helps. I love you!
