Today being Sunday we begin 9 days of activities that are more like vacation than work. We have things planned for us or else free time the whole time. Today we needed to give a ride to a lady from a village down the coast. Being early we stopped and used a walkway to access the coast. There is a paved walkway going along the water in both directions as far as we could see. There are amazing views so we got a few pictures before leaving. They have a sun dial clock calendar contraption that uses the person standing on a certain spot to determine the time and date.
We went to church and had an enjoyable time. After church we made lunch and the elders came and we ate. Next we gave the elders from Ribeira Grande a ride home. After dropping them off we went the long way home and saw some beautiful spots we have seen and blogged of before. We arrived home and went for another short drive down the coast. There was an unusual amount of people walking along the coast probably due to the weather. We saw one large freighter leaving the harbor. He blasted his horn multiple times.
Sorry about the photo, but it is a drive-bye. We came home and called everyone. Good times today. We love you all.
