Today is p-day. It was cool and quite breezy. We have now visited most places on the island and I was running out of places to show the missionaries. They expressed a desire to go down by ths ocean and check out the souvenir stores. We headed down and since grandma and I arrived first we checked out the old military fortress to learn the cost. We visited this shortly after our arrival here as written about earlier. As we were leaving there I noticed the little guard shack was unattended. An opportunity hard to pass up.We finally all got together and set out we visited several stores and the missionaries bought things they wanted.
We stopped for lunch in the mall. Thinking we were finished we headed back to the apartment. The missionaries wanted to visit one place I had mentioned where they watched for whales back in the day. Grandma stayed home giving us more room and we set out. The look out was great with big waves. The wind was really blowing on this side of the island. Heading on we came to a sign pointing to another place of interest. We ended up down on the beach where there are some neat rocks and waves really coming in.
This was a great place to visit with the wind blowing so hard. We dropped off the missionaries from Ribeira Grande and then returned home I arrived in time to talk to Hunter. This is fun. We had our zoom meetings. Then stayed in. We had a busy day and I am tired. We love you all.

I love all the pictures of the ocean, the rocks, the waves! I would love to feel the salt spray, the wind and hear/see all the birds. I am glad you can enjoy this for now. I hold onto memories and have a lot of pictures of water and lighthouses. Take care of yourselves! -Denise-
My favorite picture is the group photo of you eating lunch. You both look amazing!
Hope to come visit and see all this stuff.
