Today it was still raining. We had district meeting this morning so until then we stayed in. We drove over to the church and the bird of paradise are really blooming. They never really stopped blooming as they sold lots of them at Christmas time. We had the meeting then we had lunch. We headed out to fish tail or maybe tail of fish, to visit some members. It is the family with hthe little twin girls. I like those girls. Many of the houses have artistic tiles by the door. Usually of a religious theme this was the first one like this, kind of neat.
There is represented Joseph, Mary, and young Jesus. We drove around a little then headed back home. This evening we had an activity tonight. We are trying to do this each Wednesday evening. We trade between the two chapels. Tonight we were here at Ponta Delgada.
We had a fair number of people there and it was a lot of fun.
I had my chocolate chip cookies again and they were popular. Yes the people really are this short. We had a good day. The weather is a bit in question for the next week, but we hope to get out walking. We love you all.

I'm glad the activity had a good turn out. Looks like fun! I love the colors of the Island.
