Idle day

 Thursday January 22. Knowing today would be slower we scheduled a visit to the temple for 10:30. This month has had a lot of vacations and what with work from home, not many people are in the office on some days and Thursday and Friday are 2 of them.

We came back to the office and I sort of learned how to send pictures from my iPhone via what’s app to my mission phone which is an android and then I sent pictures to the guy who is working the refugees project. I am still working on accepting the way we help people to better their lives by spreading money around. A shirt on one of the workers yesterday translated says not one person is illegal.

The people in Brazil have decided to sort of treat immigration as a business and they provide assistance in every way to people who come here. The immigrants are making up for reduced birth rates. Maybe it all works out in the end. We put the pictures up between our computers.

I just get to be a nice guy. We left work early stopping at the store. It didn’t really rain on us it just sprinkled all afternoon. To hot for me to wear a rain jacket and umbrellas are a nuisance unless it’s raining hard. I came home and we had a late lunch then went for a short walk to the store close to our apartment. We buy milk and heavier stuff here as it less distance to carry it in a backpack and not so much of a climb. Here’s a picture for Logan’s family duck with a helmet on a moto.
