It rained hard all night. It was raining right up to the time we left for church. Each time we had to put down the window covers, I call them blast shields, it gets so hot and airless. With them open the rain is blown in. We walked to church and with me carrying my suit jacket the wind felt wonderful and the rain had quit. Once we were in the church it was so hot. Not only did they not want the air conditioner running many had sweaters on. The meetings went well and we had another meeting afterwards with the district president from the other island. We get to help with the young adult program. We walked home. The purple bush that has been part of the Sunday pictures since we arrived here is starting to look a little ragged. But it has some new red blooms. Some of the other flowers are starting to re-bloom. Looking good. We cooked and ate and talked to John and Drew and Gail. Now time for another meeting with the young adults. After we ate português food . It is many times sort of bland it needs salt pepper and maybe mayonnaise. But it is always is interesting. When we headed home it was very dark and light rain we whipped out our north face jackets and walked home. It was kind of fun. We called everyone else and headed for bed. I love you all.

Grandma looks so pretty in her dress with those flowers. That is funny that they all were in sweaters during church. Love you both! Love Ashley!
I'm glad the breeze was refreshing. It was good to talk with you last night. I love you both and miss you but am so glad you are out serving the Lord.
We always enjoy talking to you on Sunday and the kids enjoy telling you the exciting things going on in their lives. Thanks for making Sunday calls a priority, love ya!
