Today the weather was great. Wha a difference a few hours can make. I did my little solo trip to the park and then we waited and left at 9:15. We wanted to go to a store looking for a new face mask for me to wear to church. Some of the members give me grief about mine it being a flag of Brasil. I think they are jealous? We needed to walk down close to the farmers market and since the store didn’t open until 10:00 we wanted to be there as soon as it opened as we had language class at 11:00. All these times are hard to type in the right order. We waited and the store didn’t open on time so after 10 minutes we went to another where I bought the hat. It says Acores on it I just wish it was larger print. By the time we got back to the original store it was open but no masks. We walked maybe 50 feet to another store and had success.
A mask with the flag of acores. While we had waited a uy set up a box and played the accordion hoping people would give money, he wasn’t a very good player. About as good as I play the guitar. Maybe I could have a second career, but I didn’t see anyone actually throw money in the box so I think I will pass.
On the way out we stopped at another store and got 2 more masks.
So now we had to hurry as we still had a mile up hill to go. We got to the church just as the elders were arriving. After class we walked to the mall to pick up my slacks which I had left to be hemmed up. We then walked home and ate. We were sort of hungry as it was after 1:00. This evening we had a young member ride with us to make some visits. What a difference when you have someone they know with you. One old gal actually answered the doorbell when before she would see who it was and refuse to respond. We visited the home of the two little twin girls and wow the women hugged and hugged some more and now we get to look good for having caused this reunion. Meanwhile I got to play with two cute little girls. Good stuff.
I meanwhile was driving through some technical roads. As most are two way traffic one direction has to pul over on the sidewalk flashing the headlights to signal the other to come through. All this while driving like you stole the car you are in. I got to say it is sort of fun, but grandma sometimes grabs the panic handle above her head and I think she closes her eyes. I don’t have time to look. We had a fun day. Thanks for all the comments. Ashley is still my best comment giver with skye, kenna, denise, and jim getting honorable mentions. I hope you understand the reason I like the comments is that they help me see what interests others and they give me encouragement to keep writing. And okay I like them. Now as to why grandma is in most of the pictures? I write the blog, I take most of the pictures in the blog, and I decide which pictures get in. Sort of a benevolent dictator. I love you all.

The masks looks great! Glad you were able to get in to some homes that you usually can’t, that’s wonderful!
I’m with Marcia. I would be grabbing the bar and closing my eyes! 🤪 —Denise—
Cute masks. Those twins are really cute. Good driving grandpa, keep practicing and you'll be really good at driving on skinny roads. That's funny that grandma holds the panic bar and closes her eyes. Keep on working hard love you both. Love Ashley!
Drive it like you stole it!
