October 13 Wednesday

Not a picture of grandma but she took the picture. I was up and did my normal routine and then we went for our walk. My camera function on my iPhone was acting up so I only got one picture of the guys mowing the grass. There were four working in two pairs and moving right along and they do trim right out to the edges.
We walked for about an hour and a half then headed home. Our iCloud storage is full and even though I removed almost all the pictures from my phone it is the only affected. We had to pack and get things ready and then off to Lisbon. It was a nice flight. They gave us these snack boxes. Good food and grandma repurposes the boxes as gift boxes.

We landed and with the time zone change it was soon dark. We went to a empty apartment after grabbing some bedding and got set up for the night. We are on the seventh floor so some nice pictures from grandma.

Lisbon is cleaner looking and I think nicer than Porto  the number two city in Portugal where we generally go for zone conference. It seems so big and it is. There is no way you could walk all the streets here and get acquainted with the area that way. As I write this I hear sirens and we aren’t in paradise anymore. We love you all.

Seems like you were just there for zone conference every 6 weeks?

I am amazed at the amount of air travel that you experience. I guess it makes sense when you live on an island! In a previous post you mentioned 700 members but only 50 attending. I am struggling with loss of guidance, support and friendship in this chaotic world that they are choosing to go without. I hope they are still keeping a relationship with their Father and softened heart for a later reactivation. —Denise—
