Well today we are in Lisbon perhaps my favorite big city. Looking out over the city from 7 stories up there appears no end in sight. Tall apartment buildings and then out at the fringes houses close together touching each other. Great place to visit, you know the rest.
We had an appointment to get our residency cards so off we went. We ate sandwiches called bread from God for breakfast it has coconut glaze. Then we waited on the slow turning wheels of government bureaucracy until they couldn’t put it off longer then we were through and done. We went back and picked out some stuff to take with us from the left overs in the basement at the mission office. President Barcellos bought lunch for us at a sushi restaurant. With all the office staff there were 7 of us. The first 3 courses were fantastic. The fourth was like the sushi I had ate before. Okay, but not too often.
On the way back I got a picture of grandma with some flowers. We headed over and had a short meeting with president Barcellos. Then over to meet with the self reliance missionaries. They took us to a Chinese buffet which was very good but we passed on the sushi. Next back to our apartment to rest up. One of those strange days. One more note the college kids here have these Harry Potter clubs I think everyone has to join there are stores where you buy your pants or skirts and capes and they assemble in the parks and on streets and sing and jump up and down. They are everywhere in the evening.
One more out the window at the self reliance place .

Harry Potter clubs seem kind of cool! After visiting Florida that is a normal sight. I couldn’t agree more on visiting big cities, fun to see always excited to come home 💕
