Grandma with flowers in her nice rain jacket. Well today went well after my every day solo walk we headed out for a short walk. We needed to keep it short due to a scheduled hill climb and time wise we had meetings. We headed down to the coast. We came to an old rock stairway with a sign telling us to keep out but I went up. It was an old walkway wide but no handrails. The homeless had been using it so I went ahead and looked around and took pictures.
I was able to see what I was looking for an old scrap pile of anchors and stuff. We walked down the road and found a dump site where they bring construction garbage and dump it next to the ocean. There were old anchors and a large pile of anchor chain as well as wood and busted up concrete and junk.
So Drew this is why they just load the old anchor and chain on the barge and dump them out in the ocean. 7We came home and got ready for our meeting. When we arrived I discovered the phone was left behind and I walked back to get it while grandma started the language class. On the way back a woman started talking to me and wanted to see where the chapel was and then wanted to talk to the elders so not wanting to be alone with her I just took her in and let everyone deal with it. We had our district meeting next and then we left hunting the homeless guy we had met on Saturday. We didn’t find him but another man said he was starving to death so we gave him the food he still wanted money and didn’t want our help in contacting the local shelter. He just needed money he said. We went up to the mall for a few items then home. We were going on this hike climbing this steep hill with the family the missionaries here been teaching and so we set off. First was quite a walk to get where we started up and we passed an old truck and cool stuff
Including some old abandoned bee hives. No one else even notices this stuff or knows what it is. Then we started up. Everyone was concerned about grandma and I making it. Please! We got to the top grabbed some pictures and came down the steeper front. Tired but still going strong. It rained on us hence grandma in her rain jacket and I look wet.

We came home my legs are a little sore but not bad for my age. Lot of climbing the last two days. We love you all.

Great pictures and some cool hikes
Super cool. I love the pictures. All the anchors and chains are so cool. Cool truck and bee boxes. Sounds like fun. Love you guys! Love Ashley!
As I read your posts I tend to smile a lot, because you are a good story teller and I can hear your voice…I could see you rolling your eyes and saying “ please!” when the missionaries didn’t think you could make the hike 😂
