Saturday December 4

Today the weather was really nice. The people here think it is a bit cold and they all wear coats and jackets. It was in the low sixties so when walking it was really nice. We walked down towards the coast but instead of walking our normal route we walked one of the parallel streets and looked in the window. Grandma is still looking at nativity sets so I saw a few.

In the park there were lots of painted plywood figures depleting women at household chores men dancing and marching in a band a nativity scene and shepherds with sheep.

I am not sure what the women and men represent but all the municipalities have nativity scenes in their parks. They really do Christmas here. Walking around this downtown area I am reminded of the times as a young kid when we went Christmas shopping in Pocatello. All the store windows were lit up and decorated.

We saw a lot more nativity sets but I will save them for later. Next home eat and out on visits. I had a branch meeting tonight then out and taught a part member family. Lots of walking today to the church and making visits make up most of the steps. We love you all

It’s cool how Christmas is somewhat universal.

There's more nativity sets? There's a lot of nativity scenes there. Seems like they celebrate Christmas hard there. Love you both! Love Ashley!
