Sunday December 12

 

Today again it was rainy in the morning. We finished up packing for our trip. We drove to the church. How fortunate we are to have access to a car. Today the sacrament meeting program was by the primary. What a fun thing to watch. 

Even though many of the people we expected to be there were not we still had a pretty good attendance. After the meetings were over and we were driving home we noticed the ocean was really moving. Not so much whitecaps, just huge rolling water. We drove down to the coast on the way home to watch for a while. Stop and smell the roses for us has become stop and watch the ocean.

We went on home and prepared the left over tacos and when the elders came we ate and then waited to go to the airport. We finally just before dark got on the plane named magical.

Just before we left an old fellow was taking pictures inside the airplane with a digital camera. The purser came and made him stop and they had a bit of an argument, but it ended okay.here in Portugal they 

Have all these privacy laws, we can’t have member lists with addresses. Couple of pictures on take off.

We had a nice flight arriving here at 9:00 local time. It is a lot colder here only 50 degrees. Couple more pictures coming into Porto.

They had some screening for covid but we made it. Cute little girl pulling her suitcase.

We had an adventure getting to our hotel as we were unable to hook up with uber and used a taxi. Sometimes things just happen. We called the kids. No one seemed as happy as they usually are. I don’t look forward to another covid winter but that appears how it might be. We love you all.
