Today it sounded like a hurricane outside. The wind was blowing hard, the rain was coming down so fast it looked like a curtain of water. Know how when you are driving in a snow storm and the snow comes down so fast you can’t see much, it was the same here. I took a lot of pictures from our window but not sure they show it well.
Shortly after noon the rain let up but rhe wind continued to blow. Looking out to the ocean there were huge waves and white caps. We went for a drive down to see. I didn’t take any new pictures as I have maybe over done the whole ave thing, but it was impressive. We stopped for some shopping and then we had a couple of visits. We left the last house and it rained so hard water ran down the street. But within minutes there was a beautiful rainbow. SWe came home. In the grassy area in the middle of the parking lot there are these trees that the leaves have mostly fallen from. The small branches blow off too. They are strange looking sort of like the trees you would expect to see at Harry Potter’s hogwarts.
I cooked roast potatoes and gravy for supper. First time to do that here. We love you all.

I don't know if you had posted a picture of your apartment building or if I had just forgot. But they seem pretty nice!
