All the houses are stucco the or tiled. Some of the tile is stone but all start out the same. No exterior wood walls or otherwise. We walked our normal route to the coast and in the large park there they are selling Christmas trees. The skies over the buildings contrasted so that even an old color blind guy like me could appreciate them.
We went to the farmers market but it and almost everything else was closed. I found out it as a holiday their independence day. Back ln 1640 they reclaimed their independence from spain. We did see some nice stuff in the windows. They appear above this part still need to figure out how to change pictures printed in the wrong place. We left to make some visits and ended up being busy until 10:00pm. At one point I noticed a sign that said wind mill. We found a nice restored wind mill that would have been used to grind corn and flour. Even an old mill stone was there.
Long busy day. The missionaries are teaching 2 families we are hoping and praying fot them. The driving continues to be both interesting and fun. We called Whitney as she is 16 today. We love you all.
