First off thank you for all the kind comments. I do like them and the questions. Today on our side of the island was sunny and just a little breeze. When we gave the missionaries a ride home to the other side it was windy and the surf was really high. The water appears muddy. Normally the ocean is a really nice shade of blue or so it appears to my old color blind eyes. But back to the day. We were up early and we headed over to the church early. I expected to go and bring the people from the other island to church but they called and wanted to walk. We had a nice meeting then I gave a ride to the airport to four of them while grandma stayed in relief society. It was fun to help the kids get through airport security and see them off. I went back and finished church.afterwards we had a baptism. It was fun. We had Sunday lunch then we drove to Ribeira Grande to drop those elders off. From a distance you could really see the waves.
There is a motocross race going on this weekend with riders from all over Europe. They have places where they cross the road and even go on the road. They sure get muddy
We drove by the ocean again and rolled the window down and watched and listened for a while.
We came back home and had a meeting with the missionaries planning some things for this week. We started calling everyone and it was wonderful to visit. Sundays are a mixed bag. Sometimes just loads of fun and sometimes everyone is serious. This was a good one. We have really started measuring life in weeks instead of days because everything here is a week away. Yesterday I forgot to show picture of a building close to the chapel they took down in one day. This was a nice day. We love you all.

Alan asked about a ship full of cars that sank. In February aship with approximately 4000 high end and luxury cars caught fire off the coast of the accores. The crew was taken off safely but while being towed in for salvage the ship sank.
