Well today we got up and headed out for a walk. The temperature was fair but the wind picked up and it was cold enough to put on a jacket yet soon you would be to warm. It is st. Patrick day so we saw some strange things. One man was wearing a mask with a huge shamrock and Boston celtics logo. Then there as this guy wearing a skirt at the swimming area.
Not sure what it was all about. There was this strange ship that to me appeared like a mini cruise ship.
It was soon leaving the harbor and I got some neat pictures of it and a small sailboat.
When we turned for home the wind was at our backs and it was a lot more pleasant. We had lunch with a member then home to cook supper. We had invited all the missionaries including the two from the other island and I put one of these cutting onions. He cut his finger and washed it off in the sink. He said he felt light headed and I steered him to a chair just as he started thrashing around and passed out cold. We were able to keep him from falling to the floor and after a bit he came around but while walking to the living room to sit down he hurried into the bathroom and was sick. We got him on the couch and about an hour later he was up and able to go to our activity. Sometimes it is like being on a campout with a bunch of scouts. The activity was fun, he people here are very competitive.
We drove the missionaries from ribeira grande home then came home ourselves. Good day we love you all.

As the theme song goes on the Cat in the Hat, "Here we go, go, go; on an adventure". Never a dull moment in the Casa de Mecham. It's also good to get out and do some socializing. How did you do in the games?
